UGHELLI, DELTA STATE - The political winds in Delta are shifting, and from Agbarho comes a whirlwind with purpose. Rev. Anthony Ogugu, the philanthropist with a pastor’s pulse, the Reverend with raw street credibility, and the rugged stalwart of the All Progressives Congress, APC, is storming the race for Delta State House of Assembly, Ughelli North Constituency 2, 2027.
He is ‘The Amiedi Ohor’ — The Anointed Arrow — shot from the bow of the people to pierce the heart of bad governance. And his mantra thunders across Ughelli: No more Game. No more Shame. Ogugu’s name is Ughelli Gain.

Rev. Ogugu is not a stranger to struggle. He preaches from the pulpit but practices in the pavement. He dines with dignitaries yet drinks from the well of the downtrodden. Scripture in his soul, strategy in his steps.
HIS SACRED COVENANT WITH UGHELLI NORTH 2
1. He will bring Asaba glory to the Constituents and stop telling story.
For seasons we have swallowed stale stories of stalled projects and stolen promises. The Amiedi Ohor comes to turn tales into testimonies, and statistics into streets lit with success. From Agbarho to Evwreni, Uwheru to Ughelli, Asaba will answer when Ughelli calls.
2. No more Games in Ughelli North Constituency 2. No more Shame. Ogugu’s name is Ughelli Gain in the House of Assembly.
The era of political ping-pong is past. No more deceit draped as development. No more shame sewn into our streets. Ogugu is Ughelli’s Gain — dividends in development, profit in people, interest in infrastructure.
3. He will hire and engage the youth meaningfully and not fire.
He comes to furnace futures, not fracture them. To train hands, not trash them. From the ghetto to the grand table, he will trade guns for graphs, hooliganism for hope, and convert idle energy into enterprise. The streets will surrender their sons to skills, not shackles.
4. He is humble without stumble.
Power will not puff him. Position will not poison him. He will bow to serve, yet stand to secure. A servant-leader with sandals of sincerity, not slippers of superiority.
5. He will perform and not compromise standards.
The Amiedi Ohor will not bend to bribery nor bow to mediocrity. He comes to raise the roof, not raze the rules. His lawmaking will be laced with light, loaded with life, and leveraged for the last man.
6. He will put smiles on the faces of the women and elderly.
From widows’ welfare to eldercare with honour, his agenda is woven with warmth. Markets will feel mercy. Homes will harvest help. Tears will turn to testimony.
7. He will pay the price to win the prize for Ughelli North Constituency 2.
This is no political picnic. He has counted the cost. He will spend sweat, sacrifice sleep, and spare no strength until the prize — progress, peace, and prosperity — is placed in the palms of his people.

Because Ughelli North 2 is tired of tenants in the Assembly and thirsty for a titleholder of transformation. Because we need a bridge, not a boast. A bulldozer of barriers, not a bystander to bondage.
