A leading political pressure group in Ndokwa Nation, NdokwaForward, has commended the administration of Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, for what it described as three years of purposeful leadership, steady development, and people-oriented governance across the state.
In a statement issued to mark the governor's third anniversary in office, the group said the Oborevwori administration has continued to record significant milestones that have strengthened public confidence in government and reinforced the state's reputation for stability and progress.
The statement, jointly signed by Rt. Hon. Samuel Osasa Esq., Omordi George Ugbomah, and Chief Isaac Onyesom on behalf of NdokwaForward, noted that Governor Oborevwori has demonstrated a practical understanding of governance through policies and programmes aimed at improving the welfare of citizens while sustaining peace and institutional stability across Delta State.
According to the group, visible evidence of government presence can be seen across both urban and rural communities through road rehabilitation projects, infrastructure expansion, social intervention programmes, and initiatives designed to stimulate economic activities.
It further observed that the administration has maintained a commendable pace in project execution while ensuring continuity of inherited projects, a development it described as a reflection of administrative discipline and responsible leadership.
NdokwaForward also praised the governor's inclusive approach to governance, noting that his leadership style has remained people-centred and devoid of unnecessary political conflicts.
The group stated that Governor Oborevwori's accessibility, calm disposition, and willingness to engage stakeholders across political and social divides have contributed significantly to the peaceful atmosphere currently enjoyed in the state.
The group further acknowledged the administration's efforts in addressing prevailing economic and security challenges through strategic leadership and collaboration with critical stakeholders.
It added that programmes targeted at youths, women, entrepreneurs, and vulnerable groups have expanded opportunities for participation in governance while strengthening public trust in government.
Describing the governor as a leader who prioritises service delivery above political distractions, NdokwaForward said Oborevwori has consistently demonstrated maturity, restraint, and commitment to the collective interests of Deltans.
According to the group, these qualities have continued to attract goodwill and broad acceptance from different segments of the state's population.
The statement noted that as discussions ahead of the 2027 general elections gradually gain momentum, the increasing endorsements and expressions of support for the governor from various groups and stakeholders suggest a growing appreciation for continuity, stability, and measurable performance in governance.
While congratulating Governor Oborevwori on his three years in office, the group commended his resilience, dedication, and commitment to the advancement of Delta State, expressing optimism that the state would witness even greater progress under his leadership.
