Says 2027 APC Ticket Reflects Deltans’ Confidence
The Executive Director, Finance and Administration (EDFA) on the Board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), Chief Oghenekome Reginald Okpobor has congratulated Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on his emergence as the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the 2027 general elections.
In his congratulatory message, the DESOPADEC EDFA described the development as a reflection of the governor’s growing acceptance and the confidence of party members and the people of Delta State in his leadership and developmental strides.
“The peaceful and transparent conduct of the primary is a testament to the unity and strength within the APC in Delta State,” Kome stated.
“Governor Oborevwori’s emergence is well deserved, given his commitment to the M.O.R.E. Agenda and the visible impact of his administration across the three senatorial districts.”
He noted that DESOPADEC, under the governor’s leadership, has continued to align its mandate with the state’s development goals, particularly in the oil-producing communities where infrastructure, education, and empowerment programs have recorded significant progress.
“Governor Oborevwori has shown uncommon dedication to inclusive governance and sustainable development.
His re-emergence as the party’s candidate provides an opportunity to consolidate on the gains made and to deepen the delivery of democratic dividends to Deltans,” he added.
Kome called on all APC stakeholders, party faithful, and residents of Delta State to rally behind the governor to ensure victory in 2027 and to sustain the momentum of progress in the state.
He also commended the APC leadership at both the state and national levels for ensuring a smooth and rancor-free primary process.
“As we look ahead, I urge all Deltans to prioritize the interest of the state above partisan considerations. With Governor Oborevwori at the helm, I am confident that Delta State will continue on the path of peace, unity, and prosperity,” he said.
