…Urges Deltans to Continue Supporting APC-Led Administration
The member representing Ughelli North Constituency II in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Barr. Spencer Obokpare Ohwofa, has congratulated Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on his emergence as the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the 2027 general elections in Delta State.
Gov. Oborevwori emerged as the party’s candidate during the APC governorship primary election held across the state, where 345,375 party faithful participated in the direct primary process that affirmed his candidacy, resulting in celebrations in various parts of the state.
Speaking with journalists shortly after participating in the exercise at his hometown, Ohoro-Uwheru in Uwheru Ward 9, Ughelli North Local Government Area, Hon. Ohwofa described the massive turnout of party members during the primary as a strong indication of the governor’s popularity, leadership qualities, and developmental achievements across Delta State.
He noted that the peaceful conduct of the exercise and the enthusiasm displayed by party faithful reflected the unity and growing strength of the APC in the state ahead of the 2027 general elections.
According to him, “The overwhelming support demonstrated by party members across the state is a clear testimony that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has continued to win the confidence and trust of Deltans through his commitment to good governance and development.”
Hon. Ohwofa further urged party leaders, elders, stakeholders, youths, and women to remain united and committed to grassroots mobilization for the continued growth and success of the APC in Delta State.
He also called on Deltans and residents of the state to continue supporting the APC-led administration both at the state and federal levels, expressing optimism that more developmental projects and democratic dividends would be delivered to the people.
