Senator Dafinone Celebrates Legal Luminary, T. J. Onomigbo-Okpoko at 95

Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District, Senator Ede Dafinone, has felicitated with eminent legal luminary and Senior Okakuro of Okpe Kingdom, High Chief T. J. Onomigbo-Okpoko, OON, SAN, on the occasion of his 95th birthday anniversary.

In a congratulatory message on Saturday, Senator Dafinone described Chief Onomigbo-Okpoko as a revered elder statesman whose contributions to the legal profession and administration of justice in Nigeria remain exemplary.

The lawmaker noted that as a former Chairman of the Body of Benchers and a distinguished Senior Advocate of Nigeria, the nonagenarian has left an enduring legacy anchored on honour, integrity and service, while also preserving cherished traditional values.

Speaking on behalf of his family and the people of Delta Central Senatorial District, Dafinone celebrated the remarkable life of the legal icon and prayed for continued good health and fulfillment.

He said, "On behalf of myself, the Dafinone family and the good people of Delta Central Senatorial District, I celebrate your remarkable life and pray that Almighty God grants you many more years in sound health, peace and fulfilment, and renews your strength like that of the eagle."

Senator Dafinone wished the revered patriarch a happy 95th birthday celebration.
